Water-ring compressors or, in another way, AVA-K series gas blowers are dynamic machines designed to compress air and gas mixtures insoluble in water, including aggressive, toxic and explosive gases for their use in various technological processes. Water, oil, toluene, MEA (monoethanolamine), diesel, gasoline, etc. can be used as the working fluid of gas blowers, depending on the conditions and technical features of the processes.
This series is certified according to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union 010/2011 and 012/2011 for operation in explosive zones. For operation in hazardous areas, AVL-K compressors are equipped with a double mechanical seal with a plan for strapping the mechanical seal according to the API standard.
SPC "ZME" designs and manufactures liquid-ring compressor units according to the customer's specifications. The installations are equipped with a separator-water separator, a heat exchanger, shut-off and control valves, control and measuring devices and automation, and other accessories if necessary.
Main applications of AVA-K series compressors:
- nitrogen industry (production of caprolactam, urotropin, nitric acid, acetaldehyde, etc.),
- chemical industry (acid gas supply to the gas fractionating unit of the catalytic cracking complex),
- petrochemical industry (various technological processes related to injection of explosive media),
- ecology (water treatment plants, aeration of aerotanks and water treatment sites at industrial enterprises).
